Welcome to our Kids and Money Management Class! Designed for children ages 12 and up, this engaging 1.5-hour class is led by a certified financial expert. Dreams Financial will  introduce your child to the exciting world of money and investment, setting them on the path to financial confidence and independence. April 30th , 2025 

Class Overview

In this interactive session, your child will learn the fundamental concepts of money management that will serve them for a lifetime. We’ll cover everything from saving to investing, and the basics of how money works. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect:

• Understanding Money & Its Value
  Your child will get an introduction to money: what it is, how it's earned, and how it’s spent. They'll learn about budgeting, the importance of saving, and how small habits can have a big impact on their financial future.

• The Power of Interest
  Ever wondered how banks work? Your child will explore the concept of interest—both earning and paying it—and how it can grow money over time. We’ll talk about simple vs. compound interest in a way that’s easy to understand!

• The Basics of Investing
  Investing may sound like a big word, but we’ll break it down simply. Your child will learn how investing can make money work for them, and what the difference is between saving and investing. We’ll introduce them to concepts like stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, making these topics fun and approachable.

• Smart Spending & Saving Habits
  Developing smart habits is key to financial well-being. We’ll teach your child how to create a savings plan, budget for needs vs. wants, and make choices that will help them build wealth in the future.

• The Importance of Financial Goals
  Whether it’s saving for a new gadget or planning for college, setting goals is the first step to financial success. Your child will learn how to set and track their money goals in a way that feels empowering and achievable.
